Norweco Wastewater Treatment Systems

Advanced aerobic treatment units supplied, installed, and supported by the Maritimes’ regional Norweco distributor.

Sanitec Wastewater Systems supplies and installs Norweco aerobic treatment systems for residential, commercial, and multi-unit developments across Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada. We support system selection, installation coordination, commissioning, and long-term operational planning to ensure compliant, reliable wastewater treatment infrastructure.

Norweco systems, delivered by regional experts

Sanitec is the regional Norweco distributor in the Maritimes, supplying and installing aerobic treatment units for projects where compliance, site constraints, and long-term performance matter. Our team works with engineers, developers, and regulators to match each project with the appropriate treatment technology and ensure systems are installed to perform as designed.

What is an aerobic treatment unit?

Norweco aerobic treatment units (ATUs) treat wastewater using a controlled biological process that produces higher-quality effluent than conventional septic systems. ATUs are often specified where site conditions are constrained, environmental sensitivity is high, or future development scalability requires advanced treatment.

Norweco System Options

Singulair 960 (Concrete Tank)

A high-capacity aerobic treatment system suited to multi-unit residential and commercial applications. The Singulair 960 delivers consistent effluent quality and is commonly specified where higher daily flows and long-term reliability are required.

Singulair 750 (Concrete Tank – Higher Flow Capacity)

Designed for larger daily flow requirements, the Singulair 750 supports treatment demands up to approximately 3,000 litres per day. It is well-suited to commercial facilities, multi-unit buildings, and development-scale wastewater projects.

Singulair Green (Polymer Tank)

A lightweight polymer aerobic treatment system designed for residential and small commercial installations. The Singulair Green tank simplifies transport and installation, allows placement in tight or difficult access sites, and reduces excavation and equipment requirements while delivering advanced treatment performance.

Singulair 1500 (Concrete Tank – High-Capacity Treatment System)

Built for demanding wastewater applications, the Singulair 1500 is our largest Norweco system, engineered to reliably treat flows of up to 6,000 litres per day within a remarkably compact footprint. With substantial hydraulic capacity and proven aerobic treatment performance, it is purpose-designed for large commercial facilities, dense multi-unit developments, and sites where space constraints, system stability, and long-term operational reliability are non-negotiable.

How Norweco systems work

Primary Treatment

Initial settling and separation of solids.

Aerobic Treatment

Controlled biological treatment improves effluent quality within the tank environment.

Dispersal / Final Treatment

Treated effluent is dispersed according to site design and provincial regulatory requirements.
